This is an older interview with Ann Curry and Deepak Chopra.
He discusses his book Life After Death, The Burden of Proof.
As a doctor Dr. Chopra spoke of his experiences in the ER. When patients come to the end of their life many experience extreme panic, anger, denial and then they come to a resignation that is more fear based than a resignation of acceptance.
As a Scientist and doctor Dr. Chopra spoke of his background having been exposed to many different religions. His cultural background and scientific experiences has influences his writing and seminars. His own father who passed had meditated just before his death and had left this world as elegantly as he had lived.
