Mel promotes his movie The Edge of Darkness


Mel Gibson talks to Jimmy about a movie he completed with Jodi Foster called, The Beaver about a man who is clinically depressed and how finding a puppet in the trash triggers his alter-ego.
Of course they joked about the name of the film and how the film would be promoted.
Actually he was there to promote another film, Edge of Darkness where he played a Boston cop investigating the murder of his daughter. He did not direct but acted in the movie and said how odd it felt to be in his trailer when he wanted to set up the shot for the next scene.
