Academy Awards 2010 Best Actress Sandra Bullock
For her Role in The Blind Side


Sandra Bullock began her career as a teenager and finally found the role that enabled her to showcase her talent.
Last night she won Best Actress for her role as the mother in The Blind Side.
Her first line to the audience was, "Did I earn this or wear you all down?" She paid tribute to the other nominees and the Touhy
family who took in a teenager who learned what it was like to be part of a loving family.
She joked about about George Clooney who she never forgave for throwing her in a pool once and she gave a touching tribute to her mom who had passed away.
Her mother taught her to not judge people no matter their race, religion or class distinction and she joked how she couldn't ride alone with a boy in a car until she was 18.
She has always been an appealing actress because Sandra Bullock has always been down to earth letting anyone believe they too could attain their dreams as an actress.
