New Trends in Teen Age Fiction

PC Cast a well known Young Adult author speaks in England at one of their libraries about the new trend in young adult fiction.
Her sixth book Tempted was recently released and she explains how her characters become marked and their choice is to die or become vampires.
She receives lots of fan mail from the UK and their interests in vampire books are the same as teens from the United States.
She does not sugar coat her reading for her young audience and that is probably why she is such an accomplished author.
She co-authors with her daughter Kristin Cast. She explains how she was stuck in her 70's mind set and language when she began her writing career and needed her nineteen year old daughter's advice concerning a teenagers point of voice and language. The collaboration led to both mother and daughter becoming a full-time writing team that travel for lectures and book signings in the US and in European Countries.
