Traci Slatton discusses her book, Immortal her main character Luca is a male orphan in search of true love and himself.
Set in Florence during the time period 1350-1500 her novel is unusual because it is not only literature but her characters have relationships with historical figures such as Di Vinci.
Married to a sculptor with three daughters Traci is a well known healer who thinks of her books as if they are a healing journey through history. Toward the end of the book there is a romance that will appeal to those readers who are seeking romance along with history in their novels.
Traci is working on a sequel which details the lives of Luca's two sons. One is an inquisitor who witnesses the death of Joan of Arc and the other is an assassin.
